Looking for a role in digital marketing that’s a little different? Where there’s not just client work, but exciting in-house projects? Plus room to grow, chilled people and heaps of variety? Well, hello, we’re Contrast.
Contrast is an eCommerce digital marketing agency in Nottingham that practices what it preaches. We actually run our own 7-figure eCommerce businesses, so we test strategies on our own stores and scale what works - helping other eCommerce brands and businesses drive more traffic, convert more sales and dominate their industry.
Unlike other agencies, we split our time between our clients and our own businesses. Which means you can keep up with cutting-edge techniques from an agency perspective, whilst pushing through long-term in-house projects (we’ve got some pretty exciting stuff in the pipeline at the moment).
You’ll have the flexibility to put your own stamp on things and scale with Contrast - moving upwards, forwards (or sideways). Basically your progression, your way. Because we’re not just interested in who you are, we’re interested in who you want to become.
We’re a small but mighty team and big believers in creating a relaxed yet driven atmosphere. And most importantly we work together on projects, not in siloed departments. That way we can do more, learn more and achieve more together.
Ultimately our vision is to become the UK’s leading eCommerce marketing agency. Fancy it?
We’re looking for an experienced SEO Strategist to lead our SEO. Someone who's already decided to specialise in this specific marketing channel (not a general digital marketer) with the creative and technical skills to push a project forward.
You’ll be responsible for multiple tasks which include (but aren’t limited to):
Assisting/pitching in the sales process to make technical suggestions.
Auditing sites and coming up with the campaign strategy and recommended suggestions.
Implementing technical recommendations highlighted from the auditing stage.
Liaising with clients to update them on the current progress.
Developing and delivering successful SEO strategies and campaigns month after month.
Working with the digital PR team to produce content strategies and link building campaigns.
Carrying out monthly campaign reports internally and to clients.
Being flexible and able to adapt as techniques and best practice changes over time.
Leading Contrast’s SEO offering and supporting the SEO executives and wider team with SEO training and insights.
Contributing to Contrast’s wider business marketing goals, including regular blogging, podcasts and video appearances. Plus the delivery of ‘lunch and learn’ sessions.
Self-learning to ensure you’re always up to date on the industry and inspired by other SEO campaigns.
Highlighting, implementing and updating industry leading processes and procedures around Contrast’s SEO offering.
As an SEO Strategist you should be independent, organised, have excellent attention to detail and be able to manage your own workload in a busy environment without supervision.
You take pride in your work and will help us to achieve excellent results for our clients.
From the very beginning, Contrast has been formed from key core values which are at the heart of everything we do. These values have naturally formed into the team’s everyday practices in the office:
As well as a tasty salary, we provide a few extra perks to making the working day that little bit sweeter:
